CD Projekt releases "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered" on September 29 as a free upgrade for existing owners on GOG, Steam, the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2, developed together with the studio Yigsoft. The remaster adds path tracing on PC, a reworked skill system and combat, overhauled animation and cross-platform mod support through Mod.io, bundles the "Hearts of Stone" and "Blood and Wine" expansions, and goes on sale to new buyers through Battle.net and the Microsoft Store. The studio also names a 2027 expansion, "Songs of the Past".
