ZDF Studios, the distribution arm of German public broadcaster ZDF, says it has signed more than 40 agreements in over 20 countries so far in 2026, licensing more than 500 hours of German scripted content, with its crime procedural "SOKO" sold to 12 broadcasters including Finland's YLE, Walter Presents in the UK, Canal+ MOE, RTL Croatia and Talpa in the Netherlands. The mountain dramas "Mountain Medic" and "Alpine Rescue" went to Denmark's TV2, Prima TV in the Czech Republic, Poland's TVS and Pop TV in Slovenia; the romance strands "Rosamunde Pilcher" and "Inga Lindström" to Mediaset in Italy, Nova TV Bulgaria, Kanal 2 Estonia and TV3 Baltics, with RAI taking a package of TV movies; and the vampire series "Love Sucks" to Amazon, Apple, Telekom, RTL Interactive, Disney Germany, Sky Switzerland, TV Prima, Belgium's RTBF and France Télévisions. The release gives no deal values. At MIPCOM it presents the new series "High Valley" ("Die falsche Tochter") and "Shifters" ("Die Düsteren").
