Bruno Alexander and Emil Belton direct "Aliens Over Meck-Pomm", a comedy in which a spaceship crashes near a village in Mecklenburg, Germany's rural northeast, and the residents turn out to be less troubled by the visitors than by their own mistrust, grudges and insularity. The two wrote it with Oskar Belton and the three produce it with Constantin Film and Kleine Brüder; Liv Lisa Fries, Albrecht Schuch, Peter Kurth, Marc Hosemann, Milena Dreißig and Georg Friedrich lead the cast. Locations are in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and Brandenburg, five German funders back it, among them Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg and the federal DFFF, and Constantin opens it in German cinemas on 11 November 2027.
