A decree signed on 30 December and in force since 1 January requires on-demand services to put at least 20% of their French audiovisual production contribution into animation, documentary creation or recordings and recreations of live performance, phased in at 12% in a service's first year of application and 16% in the second. For services whose annual net turnover exceeds €50 million, 75% of that spend in each of those genres must go to works not previously released.
