Hugh Laurie stars as Felix Carmichael, an organized crime boss who is betrayed, locked up in Staplehurst Prison and has to escape to protect his family, his firm and his fortune, in "The Wanted Man", an eight-episode series for Apple TV created and written by George Kay ("Lupin", "Hijack") and directed by Jakob Verbruggen. Thandiwe Newton, Fionn Whitehead, Gina McKee, Hazel Doupe, Elliott Heffernan and Stephen Dillane co-star; New Pictures, a Banijay Entertainment company, produces with Observatory Pictures, and the series opens with two episodes on January 6, 2027, then runs weekly to February 17.
