A briefing by Baptiste Caramiaux for the European Parliament's culture committee puts AI adoption at 49% of companies in publishing, film, video, TV, sound recording and broadcasting in 2025, up 15.2 points in a year, against 19.4% across all EU enterprises, from Eurostat figures the author calls a trend rather than an absolute value because several countries are missing. It cites a study by France's national film agency, the CNC, in which 79% of producers, 66% of writers and 63% of directors use AI tools, names entry-level jobs as particularly at risk, and makes 23 recommendations, among them opt-in instead of opt-out for AI training, protection for entry-level jobs and a European observatory on AI in the creative sectors.
