Martin Scorsese Joins German AI Image Model Company as Advisor

Black Forest Labs, which trades as BFL GmbH out of Freiburg im Breisgau and makes the FLUX image and video models, named Scorsese an advisor on 3 June. He frames the use as pre-production rather than finishing: "Now, with this tool, I can share what I'm visualizing more clearly and efficiently to my creative team," and, on a recent test scene, "During the pre-production process, time costs money, and this allowed us to move faster." The imprint names Robin Rombach, Andreas Blattmann and Axel Sauer as the company's managing directors.
