Screen Ireland, the national screen agency, appoints John-Patrick Molloy as its first Head of Digital Games from September 23, to lead its games strategy and policy and grow the Irish sector. Molloy spent five years as creative director at Black Shamrock, a Virtuos studio, after design roles at Wargaming, Splash Damage and Lionhead Studios, with credits on the BAFTA-winning "Fable 2", "Batman: Arkham Origins" and "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered", and most recently lectured in game design at TU Dublin. The announcement names no budget for the role.
