"Rewarding", a six-part half-hour sitcom from Banijay UK's Conker Pictures, stars comedian Vittorio Angelone in his first major acting role and Hannah McClean as support workers Francis and Sinead, and is commissioned by BBC Northern Ireland and Wonder Project, an independent studio and US streaming service on Prime Video, where the series will stream in the US. Matthew McDevitt ("Hope Street"), Paddy Campbell ("Bodkin") and Faebian Averies ("Bergerac") write and David Moody directs, with disabled, neurodivergent and learning-disabled performers in key roles, among them Bernadette Brown, Joanne Crawford, Faolan Morgan and John Moffat in his television acting debut. The series grew from a pilot made under Green Lit, BBC Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland Screen's scheme for emerging local talent, is supported by Northern Ireland Screen and is set to air in autumn 2026; Banijay Rights sells it internationally.
