A theatrical version of the ZDF 37-degree documentary about Holocaust survivor Albrecht Weinberg opens in German cinemas on September 10. Directors Guner Jasemin Balci and Jesco Denzel's 90-minute feature, titled Albrecht Weinberg: Es ist immer in meinem Kopf, follows the East Frisian who returned to Germany from American exile in 2012 to speak at schools and memorials. Weinberg died on May 12, 2026, at age 101, before the theatrical release.
