The Murder of Mr Moonlight, a five-part drama about the disappearance and killing of Bobby Ryan in rural Ireland, has wrapped an 11-week shoot and will air on RTÉ One and BBC One in 2027. Brendan Coyle plays Ryan, with Owen McDonnell as Patrick Quirke, Sinéad Keenan as Mary Lowry and Hazel Doupe as Michelle Ryan. Malcolm Campbell, Meadhbh McHugh and Paul Howard wrote the scripts from Catherine Fegan's book, Daithaí Keane and Rachel Carey direct, and Conker Pictures, part of Banijay UK, produces with Samson Films. Screen Ireland, BBC, RTÉ, Fís Éireann and Coimisiún na Meán funded it, and Banijay Rights handles international sales.
