Ryan Phillips, the BAFTA-nominated British director who makes AI films as Uncanny Harry, is the first guest on The Creator Sessions, the interview strand of The AI LIVE Show, the weekly livestream run from England by Seedily's Chris Branch and Andrew Davis in which a live audience votes on the AI work under review. Phillips is based in the UK, where his company presents itself as a UK AI film and cinema production company founded by him, and he studied under Ken Russell before spending two decades in television, including as a lead director for the BBC. The session runs through six finished shorts, among them "The Betrothed", "Blood and Canvas" and "The Innsmouth Void", then closes on the first minute and a half of "Here Be Monsters", ungraded and without an ending, which the show says nobody outside his house had seen. He tells the hosts that a short film which once took him two years now takes two weeks.
