Zack London, the Los Angeles-born director who makes films as Gossip Goblin, takes the second Creator Sessions slot on The AI LIVE Show, the weekly livestream run from England by Seedily's Chris Branch and Andrew Davis, two hours after his new short "Pomegranate" went online. London moved from California to Stockholm about four years ago and works from there, he tells The Hollywood Reporter. The episode screens the film in three parts, and London says he wrote the script, directed the voice actors in person in a Stockholm studio over three or four days, and built the rest with a team of animators, a colorist, an editor, a Foley artist and a composer. He rules out generated voices on the show, arguing that AI voice tools pull from the lowest common denominator and that every film using them draws from the same well.
