The Norwegian Film Institute awarded 6.88 million kroner (~$650,000) in production funding to "Kvinne på mark" ("Woman on the Field"), a feature debut from director Kerren Lumer-Klabbers. The dark comedic drama follows a woman who embarks on an unexplained walk while her father and daughter must find their way to each other. Motlys produces with a total budget of 15.8 million kroner (~$1.5 million). Lumer-Klabbers, who trained at the Norwegian Film School, previously directed the miniseries "Arkitekten" for Viaplay, which screened at Berlin and earned a Gullruten nomination. The film is set for theatrical release in the third quarter of 2028.
