Banijay Entertainment names Ben Samek chief executive of Banijay America, the combined US business it forms after its merger with All3Media, reporting to deputy CEO Jane Turton. Banijay America also takes in Turnkey Studio Services, a centralised production services business run by Justin Medeiros as EVP of production and Jacob Cohen-Holmes as head of current programming, which the company plans to open to third-party productions, while Laurens Drillich runs a new Banijay Latin America. Turton credits Samek with growing Banijay America and adding a fast-developing live, digital and sport business.
