Jean-Baptiste Durand shoots "L'homme qui avait peur des femmes" ("The Man Who Was Afraid of Women") from October 2 to November 10 in the Hérault countryside and in Montpellier, with Alexis Manenti as Guilhem, a village man who has given up on women, and Nadia Tereszkiewicz as Marie, the woman who makes him change. Durand co-wrote it with Nathan Le Graciet and Guillaume Breaud, and Anaïs Bertrand produces for Insolence Productions on a projected budget of €3.6 million (roughly $4.2 million) financed by France's film agency CNC, pay broadcaster Canal+, public channel France 3, the Occitanie region, Ciclic and two Sofica tax-shelter funds. Diaphana releases it in France and Films Boutique handles international sales.
