Spain's national film agency ICAA proposes €2.2 million (roughly $2.6 million) in production aid for 37 short-film projects in a provisional resolution of October 2, with the 19 projects directed by women taking €1.08 million (~$1.27 million), about 49%, against a 40% floor in the rules, and seven animation projects taking €534,500 (~$625,000) against a 10% floor. The largest grant, €105,000 (~$123,000), goes to Noon Films' animated "Un viaje peligroso: la historia de Windela", and the highest-scoring project is Suica Productions' "Porcs i egües". Applicants have five working days to object before the awards become final.
