Munich sales house Beta Film closes a deal with Italian public broadcaster Rai for three female-led series ahead of MIPCOM, the October TV market in Cannes. The German one is "Mozart Mozart", a 6x60 period drama about Maria Anna Mozart in 1780s Vienna, created by Andreas Gutzeit and directed by Clara Zoë My-Linh von Arnim, with Havana Joy as Maria Anna and Eren M. Güvercin as Wolfgang, produced by Story House Pictures with ARD's WDR, SWR and ARD Degeto Film, Austria's ORF and Dreaming Sheep Company, and sold by Beta Film with Bavaria Media. Rai also takes "A Guilty Affair", a 4x60 French thriller about a high school principal searching for her missing daughter, from France Télévisions, Episode Productions, Be-Films and Belgium's RTBF, and "Barton Vet", a 12x60 North American veterinary procedural starring Georgina Reilly, from Shaftesbury with BYUtv and Beta Film. The release names neither the Rai channel nor the terms.
