Fran Drescher joins the second season of "Die Zweiflers", the ARD comedy-drama about Jewish family life in Germany, playing Melissa, the head of a record label who makes Samuel a promising job offer. Turbokultur produces the series for ARD Degeto, Hessischer Rundfunk and WDR, three arms of German public broadcaster ARD, and the new season streams on the ARD Mediathek, ARD's free streaming platform, from January 15. ARD put the season at the top of its fiction slate for the coming months, alongside new series with Sylvie Meis, Helena Zengel and Moritz Bleibtreu.
