The Netherlands Film Fund awards €3.3 million (roughly $3.9 million) in the third 2026 round of its Netherlands Film Production Incentive to 12 fiction films and two documentaries, nine of them international co-productions, which it expects to generate more than €11.7 million (~$13.7 million) of production spending in the Netherlands. The largest awards go to Dutch films: Giancarlo Sanchez's "Beursbengels" from NRG Productions takes €771,338 (~$900,000), Jan van Gorkum's "Shiny New World" from Bloodrave €600,142 (~$700,000) and Finn Szumlas's "Stairway to Earth" from Phanta Film €561,913 (~$660,000). The co-productions include Luis Ortega's "Magnetized" with Isabella Films, Elina Psykou's "Patrimonial Fears and Other Illusions" with Studio Ruba and Jela Hasler's "To Put Out One Fire" with Family Affair Films. The incentive is a cash rebate of up to 35% of qualifying Dutch spend, capped at €3 million (~$3.5 million) per producer a year, from a 2026 budget of €20 million (~$23 million) split over four rounds, and international co-productions are served first, up to 70% of each round. The next deadline is October 26.
