The Netherlands Film Fund gives its DocLab Interactive Grant, €10,000 (~$11,700) each, to "The Love Files" by Sanne De Wilde and Samir Veen, an interactive installation in which participants judge the dossiers couples submit to prove their relationships to immigration authorities, and "All the Downtime" by Ant Hampton, a shared photobook with audio narration built on AI-generated images of automated warehouses and data centres. Both premiere at IDFA DocLab in Amsterdam, November 13 to 22. IDFA DocLab's Nina van Doren says "The Love Files" is urgent because AI "makes 'proof' entirely manipulable".
