BBC Director-General Matt Brittin told the Royal Television Society's London Convention that someone had sent him a 50-minute, AI-generated episode of "Doctor Who" and that it was "pretty good", adding: "I mean, it's not going to replace humans", Cultbox reports. He said "six billion people" now have the ability "to create content at the standard of a Hollywood studio". Brittin did not name the episode; Cultbox links the remark to "The Curse of Kilmorag", a 55-minute unofficial episode from the fan project The Unmade Season, written by Thomas Vittlowe, which briefly recreates David Tennant's likeness and voice and drew about 400,000 YouTube views before it was taken down.
