Studio Babelsberg, the Potsdam stage complex where "John Wick: Chapter 4", "Uncharted" and "The Hunger Games" films shot, opens two stages for hybrid production at its fx.center on the lot: the Studio Babelsberg LEDCave, a 365 square metre space with an LED volume 15 metres long and 5 metres high, two mobile LED walls and a movable LED ceiling, run technically by Rent Event Tec's LEDCave, and the Grey Stage, a configurable space for green screen, motion capture and 3D and 4D scanning. Brandenburg economy minister Martina Klement opened the stages with studio CEO Jörg Bachmaier. The release gives no investment figure and names no production booked into the volume.
