RP1 Holding, an Italian group of alternative-finance and advisory firms for the creative industries, and US media and entertainment finance company MCT Credit Solutions launch the One Media Capital Fund with an initial €100 million (roughly $117 million) to finance the production and distribution of audiovisual content in Italy, Italian newswire Teleborsa reports from the announcement at Rome's MIA market on 20 October. The fund, managed by Ingenii SGR, is aimed at Italian and international production and distribution companies working in Italy. RP1 says it has supported more than 2,000 film and TV productions worth over €6 billion (~$7 billion) since 2011, including advisory work on "Conclave", "Emily in Paris" and "House of Gucci".
