Comcast says the separation of NBCUniversal and Sky "remains on track to create two independent companies" and has suspended its share repurchase program from the third quarter until the separation, according to its third-quarter results of 22 October. Peacock posted a second straight profitable quarter, $261 million in adjusted EBITDA on $1.8 billion in revenue, with paid subscribers up 17% year on year to 48 million, and Universal passed $5 billion at the global box office, led by "The Odyssey", now its highest-grossing film at nearly $1.8 billion worldwide. Comcast completed the sale of Sky's German operations on 31 May 2026.
