According to DWDL’s analysis, Germany's Constantin Film, which generated EUR 329 million (~$365 million) in 2025 revenue, is preparing to take on a minority investor. Parent company Highlight Communications has restructured Constantin's share capital to allow a new shareholder to acquire up to 33.3% while Highlight retains two-thirds control. Highlight faces a November deadline to refinance roughly EUR 64 million (~$71 million) in bank debt and has pledged all Constantin shares, valued at EUR 150 million (~$167 million), as collateral. CEO Oliver Berben told DWDL that the company reduced operating costs 14% in the first half of 2026 and must "become better" as costs rise while production volume holds steady. Major fall releases include "Der perfekte Urlaub" and the next "Resident Evil" entry.
