The FFA awarded €472,500 (~$520,000) in distribution funding to nine theatrical releases on September 17. Andreas Dresen's "Alte Liebe" receives the largest grant at €150,000 from Pandora Film, opening October 8. Sophie Heldman's "Eine Schule für Jane Cumming" takes €120,000 from farbfilm verleih for a January 2027 release. Other recipients include Emily Atef's "Call Me Queen" (€46,500, Filmreederei), Doris Dörrie's "Frau Winkler verlässt das Haus" (€40,000, Wild Bunch Germany), and the Cannes Un Certain Regard prizewinner "No Good Men" from Shahrbanoo Sadat (€47,000, Weltkino Filmverleih).
