UFA Fiction's family comedy "Das Geschenk" ("The Gift") arrives on Netflix on October 30, directed by Vanessa Jopp from a script by Ben Brooks. Jeanne Goursaud plays Marlene, a single mother who turns her brother's country villa into a birthday paradise for her son Theo (Levin Wopp) until a realistic toy gun sets the family against each other, with Edin Hasanović as uncle Timo, Heiner Lauterbach as grandfather Hans and Amal Keller as Marlene's idealistic friend Jenny. Eric Bouley produces, with Antonia Matthes as producer and Bernhard Jasper behind the camera.
