Reese Witherspoon and France's Mediawan Buy Hello Sunshine From Candle Media

Reese Witherspoon and French studio group Mediawan acquire Hello Sunshine, the company behind "Big Little Lies", "The Morning Show", "Little Fires Everywhere" and "Daisy Jones & The Six" and home of Reese's Book Club, from Candle Media, with Witherspoon investing alongside Mediawan, C21 reports. Financial terms are not disclosed; Candle bought Hello Sunshine about five years ago for a reported $900 million. Hello Sunshine joins a group whose labels include See-Saw Films, Plan B Entertainment, Drama Republic, Wiedemann & Berg, Palomar, Chapter2 and The North Road Company; Peter Chernin sits on Mediawan's board and Scott Manson runs Mediawan in North America.
