Aoife McArdle, known for her work on Apple TV's "Severance", is shooting most of "Foxfinder", her feature adaptation of British playwright Dawn King's play, in the Kelheim district of Lower Bavaria, regional funder FFF Bayern reports from the set. Tessa Thompson and Ebon Moss-Bachrach play Jude and Sam, a grieving couple clinging to routine on their struggling farm, and Owen Cooper plays William, a coldly devout government "fox finder" whose arrival turns their lives upside down; McArdle wrote the script with King. Komplizen Film produces with British partners Elation Pictures and Rabbit Track Pictures and Munich's TRIMAFILM, with Janine Jackowski and David Armati Lechner as executive producers, and FFF Bayern backs the film through its programme for international films and series, without stating an amount.
