Shooting starts in the Hochschwarzwald on the second season of "Spuren", SWR's police series for ARD: four 45-minute episodes about sexualised violence in supposedly protective settings, built on research into real cases, SWR announces. Nina Kunzendorf and Tilman Strauß return as investigators Barbara Kramer and Thomas Riedle, whose team searches for former doctor Rudolf Gunser after he vanishes at night from his house in Lauburg im Breisgau. Lailaps Films (producer Nils Dünker) makes it for SWR, Stefan Krohmer directs from scripts by Robert Hummel and Martina Mouchot, and the shoot runs until early December in the southern Black Forest and around Munich; SWR calls the 2025 first season an extraordinary audience success on Das Erste and in the ARD Mediathek, and sets no air date.
