Adam DiMarco is attached to star in "Dark Ocean", the first feature from Icelandic production company Glassriver, opposite Baltasar Kormákur as Captain Andri and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson as Höddi, The Hollywood Reporter reports. DiMarco plays Hákon, a 28-year-old Canadian-born Icelander on his first voyage aboard a North Atlantic fishing trawler, in a drama about survival shaped by "grief, silence and toxic masculinity"; Glassriver co-owner Baldvin Z directs. Production starts in March 2027 in Iceland and St. John's, Newfoundland, as a coproduction with Canada's Terminal City Pictures, with Rocket Science on international sales.
