Brett Morgen's David Bowie Concert Film "Stage" Sets Berlinale World Premiere in an Arena

"Stage", Brett Morgen's film built from previously unseen footage of David Bowie's 1978 Isolar II tour at Earls Court in London, has its world premiere at the 77th Berlinale on 14 February 2027 at Berlin's Uber Arena, the David Bowie Estate announced. Morgen, the Estate and Rob Hallett's Wonderworld present it on three screens with transparent LED and large-scale projection, with lighting designer Patrick Woodroffe and sound engineer Paul Massey, and Morgen says he spent "almost a decade reconfiguring, editing, colour grading, and hand-painting the archival footage". Tickets go on presale through Eventim on 28 October, with general sale from 30 October.
