All ten episodes of "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2", created by Warsaw games company CD Projekt Red with studio TRIGGER, premiere on Netflix on 20 October, CD Projekt announces, four years after the first "Cyberpunk: Edgerunners". Kai Ikarashi directs, Kanno Ichigo is lead character designer, and Hugo Award winner Bartosz Sztybor returns as showrunner, story writer and producer alongside Masahiko Otsuka; the standalone series follows an all-new cast of characters through "a raw and emotional tale of vengeance and redemption". CD Projekt ties a free game update to it, the Edgerunners 2 Update for "Cyberpunk 2077", out on 22 October on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S|X, with Nintendo Switch 2 to follow.
