ZDF debuted a curated film collection titled "Ausgezeichnete Filme und Arthouse-Kino" on its streaming portal September 14, opening with "In die Sonne schauen," the Cannes 2025 Jury Prize winner and the first German film in competition for the Palme d'Or in years. The drama won 10 German Film Awards in 2026, the most at that ceremony. The collection will add titles including "Sterben," "Das Licht," "Eismayer," "The Zone of Interest," and "How to Have Sex," alongside documentaries "Soldaten des Lichts" and "Born in Evin."
