Channel 4 has named Alisa Pomeroy head of unscripted, a restructured role that combines the UK public broadcaster's documentary and factual entertainment, reality and entertainment, and specialist factual slates, which run from "The Great British Bake Off", "Gogglebox" and "Taskmaster" to "24 Hours in Police Custody" and "Educating Yorkshire". Pomeroy, who has spent 11 years at the broadcaster commissioning titles including "Partygate", "Dirty Business" and "Handcuffed", reports to director of programmes David Brindley and starts in January.
